The best tortas deserve the best website

Los Reyes de la Torta, with three locations in Phoenix, AZ, is a family-owned restaurant who have been on top of the Southwest torta kingdom for 20+ years. Featured on Man v. Food, and dozens of local publications, Los Reyes teamed up with Boldly fine to completely rebrand their business, create new menus, a fresh interior design overhaul, and create a ton of high quality branded content with our professional photo/videography team.

Professional Videography

Video speaks volumes to an audience, especially when it comes to food. We wanted the first thing people see on the site to be the incredible food, drinks, and welcoming atmosphere that Los Reyes is known for. Our videography team flew to Phoenix, set up this session at the restaurant (during working hours), and edited a 1-minute custom video for the team to use on their site and social media accounts.

Always Mobile-First

Always Mobile-First

Generally, 80% of traffic to restaurant websites comes from users on a mobile device, especially in today’s “review-centric” world of Yelp, Trip Advisor, and Facebook. So we designed their site with this in mind, making sure it looked and worked amazing on a phone first and foremost.

As foodies ourselves, we designed the site to provide people with the most important info above the fold: Locations, addresses, phone numbers, and deep links to the mobile Yelp app.

Don’t you wish every restaurant website looked this pretty?

Custom Code to the Rescue

Custom Code to the Rescue

Our clients love the Squarespace sites we build for them. But one downside you’ll usually hear about Squarespace is that “it’s so cookie-cutter”, or “it’s impossible to customize”.

NONSENSE!

Don’t believe this crap… hire professionals who know what they are doing and write great code and you can have a site that is only limited to the depth of your own imagination.

Mobile Menu - After

No pinch/zoom?! No separate download necessary?! A sticky menu to easily jump to different menu sections?! Real text that Google can read?!

This is how a restaurant’s mobile website menu should look.

Brand New Brand

Brand New Brand

Our graphic design team took their old logo, and created a fresh new look with a nod to the past. The colors are inspired by Mexico City’s contemporary “nuevo pop art” style, which speaks to the restaurant’s chic aesthetic balanced with their modern takes on traditional family recipes.

A Stacked Photo Shoot

A Stacked Photo Shoot

While Los Reyes had some photo content of their food, it was a bit outdated. We set up an all-day photo shoot with our photography team (headed by Brandon Ross Photography) to produce drool-worthy content for the site and Instagram, Yelp, Trip Advisor, Facebook accounts to drive online traffic through their doors.

Social Media Account Overhaul

Social Media Account Overhaul

Customers don’t only look at a restaurant’s website, they typically also look at all their social media accounts too. We knew it was important to roll their new branding across all platforms, so we gave Los Reyes’ Yelp, Instagram, Facebook, Trip Advisor, and Google Business accounts a much needed facelift and optimized the settings of each profile to adhere to today’s best practices.

As a result, their social following exploded, along with user reviews and ultimately foot traffic.
